Primary league Legislative Council representatives
Seat counts for recognized primary leagues follow Article 800 of the CHSAA bylaws.
Bylaws referenced
- 800.3 — Each primary league has one representative (base).
- 800.31 — Primary leagues with 10 to 19 schools receive one additional representative.
- 800.32 — Primary leagues with 10,000 students (actual enrollment) are entitled to a total of three representatives.
- 800.33 — Primary leagues with 20 or more schools are entitled to a total of four representatives.
This tool applies the maximum of the totals produced by those rules. Other Legislative Council seats (e.g. 800.34 superintendents, 800.35 school boards, 800.36 CADA) are elected separately and are not tied to primary league membership counts.
Enrollment: Any enrollment value is the school’s three-year average enrollment (per alignment data). A league’s total enrollment is the sum of those averages for the schools in that league.
